How to Use the Virtual Try-On Feature (and What to Expect)

Shopping for jewelry online can feel a little uncertain. You might love a piece, but still wonder, will this actually look good on me and is the size going to feel right?

That is exactly why I added a Virtual Try-on feature to my website. It is there to help you visualize pieces on yourself before you buy and make choosing easier and more fun.

Here is how it works and how to use it in the best way.

First, what the Virtual Try On actually does

Description of image

When you open the feature, your camera turns on and a jewelry image appears on your screen. You then move your phone and line the piece up with your ear for earrings, neck for necklaces, wrist for bracelets, or hand for rings. You can use the controls panel at the bottom to rotate, adjust the size, and change the opacity. Or you can use the top controls to start/stop the camera and flip your camera. You can always recenter or reset your adjustments using the bottom controls.

Think of it like holding the jewelry up to yourself in a mirror, but digitally. It helps you see how the shape looks on you, how bold or minimal the design feels, and the overall vibe with your features and style.

It is a visual guide, not a perfect digital replica.

This tool is not augmented reality. The jewelry does not automatically lock into place on your body, it does not perfectly scale to real life size, and it will not move exactly like real jewelry would.

Because this is an image overlay, you are the one lining it up manually on your screen.

That said, it is still incredibly helpful for seeing style, shape, and presence on you.

How to get the most accurate feel for size

Description of image

To understand true proportions, always pair the try on tool with the size details on the product page.

Here is the best way to use both together.

First, use Virtual Try-on for style. Ask yourself if you like how the shape looks on you and whether it feels delicate, bold, long, or short.

Next, check the measurements for scale. Look at length in inches for necklaces and bracelets, drop length for earrings, and stone or charm size.

Then, use the model or product photos as reference. These show how the piece sits on a real body and help you understand proportion.

When you combine all three, you get a much clearer picture than photos alone.

Why I love this feature

Even though it is not high tech augmented reality, it solves one big problem. You do not have to imagine everything in your head.

You can actually see the piece near your skin tone, your face shape, your neckline, and your overall look. That alone helps most people feel much more confident choosing.

A little note from me

Every piece is handmade in small batches, and I truly want you to love what you choose. This feature is one more tool to help you feel sure, not pressured.

If you are ever stuck between sizes or styles, you can always reach out and I will gladly help you decide.
